Local Graduates with Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) from the National University of Singapore

1. Application for Pre-registration Training

The following are to be submitted to the Council for registration:

a. NRIC or Passport & Employment Pass (photocopy)*

b. Details of Academic Results (photocopy)*

c. Pre-registration Training Form   duly filled by applicant and signed by Preceptor & Pharmacy Manager

d. Pre-registration Fee of $80 (cash or cheque made payable to Singapore Pharmacy Council, not post-dated)

*Original documents to be produced for verification

2. Application for Registration as a Pharmacist

Under the Pharmacists Registration Act 2007, only pharmacy graduates from the National Unversity of Singapore are eligible for registration after having completed 12 months of Pre-registration practical training in approved training centres. (Please refer to the List of Approved Training Centres )

In addition, they must also pass the competency examination conducted by Singapore Pharmacy Council. The competency examinations are conducted 3 to 4 times a year. The next competency examination will be held in the following dates:

- 31 May 2010

- 30 Aug 2010

- 29 Nov 2010

The fee is S$300.

The minimum passing mark is 60. (Guide to Competency Exam)  .

Requisites for registration:

a. NRIC or Passport & Employment Pass

b. Pharmacy degree from the National University of Singapore

c. Appraisal report of Pre-registration training  duly signed by preceptor and pharmacy manager

d. Application for Registration Form  duly filled with Registration Fee of $200 (cash or cheque made payable to Singapore Pharmacy Council, not post-dated)

e. Application for Practising Certificate form  duly filled with Application Fee of $400 (cash or cheque made payable to Singapore Pharmacy Council, not post-dated)

f. Notification of pass results for competency examination

g. Pre-registration Training survey

h. Project Abstract
