Examination dates

The applicant must take and pass both the Forensic Examination (relating to Pharmacy Laws in Singapore) and Competency Examination.

  1. The Forensic Examinations are conducted 4 times in 2026. The following are the examination dates in 2026:

    • 9 March 2026 (Mon)

    • 2 June 2026 (Tues)

    • 7 September 2026 (Mon)

    • 9 November 2026 (Mon)

The fee payable is S$300.

Applicants are required to apply online for the Forensic Examination at least 2 - 3 weeks before the examination date (Forensic Exam Information [PDF, 152 KB]). Online payment can be made via eNets or credit card (Visa or Mastercard).  All candidates will be notified via email when the online application for Forensic Exam is opened.

The minimum passing mark for the Forensic Exam is 60. Maximum number of attempts is 3 (three).

  1. The Competency examinations (Competency Examination Application Form [PDF, 90 KB]) are conducted 4 times in 2026. The following are the confirmed dates in 2026: 

    • 25 February 2026 (Wed)

    • 11 May 2026 (Mon)

    • 20 August 2026 (Thurs)

    • 30 November 2026 (Mon)

The fee payable is S$300.

Applicants are required to apply online for the Competency Examination, at least 2 - 3 weeks before the examination date.  Online payment can be made via eNets or credit card (Visa or Mastercard)  (Guide to Competency Assessment Exam [PDF, 509 KB]). All candidates will be notified via email when the online application for Competency Exam is opened.

The minimum passing mark for the Competency Exam is 60. Maximum number of attempts is 3 (three).
